Sun & Sand Escapes

Warm water, white sand, and nothing at all to plan.

Five Warm Coastlines

Barefoot by noon, and nothing left to decide.

An all-inclusive week is the easiest luxury there is. The wristband goes on, the wallet goes away. The hardest question left is whether today is a beach day or a pool day.

Our advisors have walked these resorts, swum in these pools, and put their own families in these rooms. They know which resorts suit a toddler and which are adults only. They know when a swim-up suite is worth the upgrade, and which weeks bring the calmest water and the kindest rates. Choose your coastline below, and we will handle the rest.

Part One

The Warm Waters

Mayan ruins on a limestone headland above the turquoise sea at Tulum, Mexico

01 · Caribbean & Pacific Coasts

Mexico

The closest warm water to Louisiana, and the widest choice of it. The Riviera Maya for the short flight and the big family resorts. Los Cabos for adults-only quiet. Puerto Vallarta for a real town at the end of the beach. December through April is the dry, breezy stretch, and it books a year ahead.

Best for

Long weekends and school holidays, when flight time matters as much as the beach.

02 · Island by Island

The Caribbean

Every island keeps a different promise. Saint Lucia for honeymoon privacy under the Pitons. Turks and Caicos for the softest sand anywhere. Jamaica and Punta Cana for family resorts that never run short of things to do. We match the island to the trip, not the other way around.

Best for

Repeat beach travelers ready to trade the usual resort for a different island.

03 · Nassau & the Out Islands

The Bahamas

Fifty miles of shallow, unlikely blue, a short hop off Florida. Nassau and Paradise Island keep everyone busy from the waterslides up. The Exumas and Eleuthera trade all of that for empty sandbars. The gentlest first passport trip a family can take.

Best for

Young children, nervous first flyers, and a week that never strays far from home.

Part Two

Farther Shores

The fluted green cliffs of the Na Pali Coast falling into the surf on Kauai, Hawaii

04 · The Islands

Hawaii

American soil, no passport, and a coastline that behaves like the far side of the world. Maui and Oahu for a first visit, Kauai for green cliffs and quiet, the Big Island for volcanoes before breakfast. The flights are the hard part, and that is the part we handle.

Best for

Far away with no passport, and anyone who cannot sit still on a beach for seven days.

Mount Otemanu above the Bora Bora lagoon with overwater suites along the reef, French Polynesia

05 · The South Pacific

French Polynesia

The one people save for. An overwater suite on the Bora Bora lagoon, black-sand coves on Moorea, and water so clear that snorkeling feels close to flying. Kept for honeymoons, big anniversaries, and travelers who have already been everywhere else. It is a long day of flying from Louisiana, so give the arrival a night of its own before the week begins.

Best for

Couples with something to celebrate and no plans to leave the lagoon.

Sun & Sand Escapes FAQ

Yes. Our advisors plan all-inclusive and beach vacations in Mexico, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Hawaii, French Polynesia, and beyond, for families, couples, and groups.

It depends on your children's ages and what your family enjoys. Some resorts specialize in kids' clubs, water parks, and family suites, while others are designed for adults only. We'll match you with resorts that fit your family's ages, interests, and budget.

For Mexico, the Caribbean islands, the Bahamas, and French Polynesia, U.S. citizens generally need a valid passport. Hawaii is part of the United States, so no passport is needed. Always confirm current travel-document requirements before you travel.

Popular dates, like winter holidays, spring break, and the dry season in Mexico from December through April, often book well in advance, so earlier is better. We'll help you balance weather, crowds, and rates for your dates.

Planning is complimentary for most vacations, and we'll always tell you upfront if a fee applies.
