Hi! My name is Gale. I live in Central Arkansas with my husband. We and our older daughter moved to this area two years ago to be closer to our younger daughter, her husband and three boys. When I’m at home, you can find me enjoying our beautiful scenic deck, swimming pool, and family. We also love serving our church on the tech team, visiting and meeting new friends and, most of all, attending anything related to our grandsons (ages 5, 8, 10).
My first exposure to Disney was about the age of five when our family made the trek across the USA from Arkansas to California to visit family and went to Disneyland! I still remember the magic. We have taken our daughters to Disney World several times from the age of toddlers to just a few years ago with grandsons in tow! My parents may not have been wealthy, but they always planned a family vacation. That began my love of travel. We camped, cruised to Hawaii and Alaska, took car adventures, explored Disney World and just about anything that we could enjoy together. Our girls grew up in that environment and love to travel, as well. Our SIL came from a family with a desire to travel and willingly joins us on our quests.
My family has jokingly called me the “cruise director” because I get almost as much joy out of planning the trips as I do when I experience the trips. We have been on domestic trips as well as international. Mission opportunities have taken us to Honduras, Ukraine, and Kenya. We had a great time on a bus tour of Europe with my husband’s family. My Dad once told someone I would be excited to go to Gilmore, AR (population 176) if someone would just go with me!
I remember black and white TV. Yes, I am that old! So, when the Wonderful World of Color began broadcasting on Sunday evenings, the Disney magic began in our home. From the age of five to now I never grow tired of the magic. I am the biggest kid there. I have a love of the thrill rides. When no one else wants to join me, I ride the roller coasters alone. Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides. I want to be the first one there and the last one to leave!
I have been a nurse for over forty years and a nurse educator for over thirty years. I love planning and executing. There is nothing I would love more than to plan an unforgettable trip for you and your family and/or friends. We had the blessing of Disney planners who made our trip magical and I think it would be a great honor to be able to provide that service for you! Whether you are a Disney novice or a seasoned pro, I would be pleased to be by your side to assist with whatever I can.
