Hi! I am Heather Ortego, and I am thrilled to be part of the Castles and Cruises Travel team. As a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish, currently living in Maurice with my family, I bring a wealth of local knowledge and travel experience. I’ve traveled solo, with my husband, and with my entire family. With children ranging from 2 to 18 years old, I’ve mastered the art of planning vacations for adults, teens, kids, and families. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a solo trip, I’m here to help you create unforgettable travel experiences.

I have always had a passion for Disney and my enthusiasm for Disney allows me to create engaging and authentic experiences. My teaching career has allowed me to build a great sense of attention to details and problem solving abilities. Even with the best laid plans, unexpected things can arise while on your adventures! With my travel knowledge, I will be able to assist you find option B or even an option C if needed.

As an educator, I have helped to plan several trips for large school groups that include Washington D.C, New Orleans, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Planning trips for such large groups has altered my planning style and I feel like I am now better prepared to help you plan a trip of any size.
